Gerrit Wessendorf I love when guitar meets the classic Berlin school sound. It seems to mark a unique spot right in the intersection between past, present and future. Especially the title track, A Different Kind of Normal, is so rich from beginning to end. I also love Klaus to the Edge, Manuel Gearchange and the other tracks. Excellent album. Favorite track: A Different Kind of Normal.

This is the wEirD album released on the Neu Harmony label (NH011).

The group wEirD (emphasising the "E" for England and the "D" for Deutschland) was half of Kubusschnitt and this was the only release. There are a couple of guest appearances, as noted in the booklet - you just have to guess who they were.

This one has been left alone, as issued, with no remastering. However, as a bonus there are remastered versions of "Klaus to the Edge" and "Manuel Gearchange". These always were my favourite tracks, especially "Manuel Gearchange", so enjoy them in their new form.

Having reached 450 downloads, this one is no longer on "name your price". However, it is still reasonably priced and the remastered tracks can be bought separately. Enjoy.

Absolutely thrilling album!! I’m a fan of Berlin School so I don’t know how I have missed out on The Soviet Space Dog Project until now. It’s always so great to hear new music that doesn’t imitate Berlin classics yet manages to do new things within what I would call the essence of the genre.
